 No One By His Side

At midnight he cried,

Done, enough for this world, he sighed.

Fair to all, treated everyone right, 

He was understanding and so kind.

But in the end he was all alone, with

No one by his side.

Some mocked him, and

Some called him fake, and for some,

"He was out of his mind".

But they just couldn't understand 

That he wasn't mad at all.

He was one of his kind.

And yet he was all alone, with

No one by his side.

He suffered alone, silenced his cries.

Mirth, joy and laughter,

Were the things he amplified.

People changed a lot, they

Came and went like the tides.

But he remained the same,

Still as kind as before, the one with 

No one by his side.

He had many loved ones,

And many he had lost.

But still he did everything for the remnant, no matter what it did cost.

They kept pushing him away,

And he had his last fall.

His warmth became hell,

His cool turned into frost.

The devil shivered and laughed, that's a noble soul the world has just lost.

And all of a sudden,

He was the worst.

The one whom everyone hated

And cursed.

He was despised and disliked by 

Every single soul he did find.

Because he stopped loving from his heart, and began obeying his mind.

He had changed now,

Now he wasn't kind.

But atleast he got himself,

And the devil by his side.
